De "Prepare for the Switch" fase
In order for you to be able to start a sportfasting programme, your body and mind need to be well prepared. To check whether you are ready to start a sportfasting programme, it is recommendable to do the suitability test. Answering a few questions will clarify to you what it is you need to start the programme and whether you are actually willing to do it. If you are not ready yet, you can contact a sportfasting coach or sportfasting therapist to help you prepare. He or she can help you get into the right condition and give you information about how to deal with illness or medication during the programme.
It is important that your physical shape is good enough to be able to exercise for 20 to 30 minutes with the right intensity.
It is also important that you are not ill and that you have enough time to carry out the programme and enough time to rest. Especially during the fasting
days (1 to 3 fasting days for each programme), it is highly recommended to take it very easy. Furthermore, it is important for your body to contain enough
nutrients (vitamins, minerals and proteins) in order to carry out the transformation process (from burning sugar to burning fat) properly. It is up to your
coach to decide this and to prescribe ‘Prepare for the Switch’-supplements if necessary, in order to prepare in the best way possible.
